Frequently Asked Questions

How long will I be in therapy?

How long therapy lasts usually depends on the individual client and their required level of support. Some clients stay a short while, and others can remain in therapy for a year or more. Further, some clients will leave and return as needed in future. Of high importance is that there are enough sessions to develop a strong therapeutic relationship so that the therapy is most beneficial to the client.

Do you offer same day sessions?
Are your services covered by my insurance company?

Many insurance companies do cover psychotherapy services. Tara recommends checking your specific policy to ensure that registered psychotherapists are covered within your plan. Upon receipt of payment for your session, a receipt will be issued to you with all necessary information required in order for you to process the claim through your insurance company.
